The Thermostat Method

From the thermometer to the thermostat.

Most of us live like a thermometer. The pressure goes up, and we go up with it. A thermometer only reacts. A thermostat sets the temperature and holds it. The Thermostat Method trains you to set your own state and keep it, through focus, brain training, meditation and hypnosis.

01
Take your temperature

Your starting point, taken before a word is said: how you feel and, if you wear a Muse, a watch or a ring, what your body reads. That number is the only one you are ever compared to.

02
Set the room

Your own background, soundscape and focus music, my voice, and your headphones. The surge you feel under pressure is not the enemy; at the right level it is focus. In that state you rehearse what you want until it runs on its own.

03
Become the thermostat

A cue nobody can see, tested cold, that brings you back to your setting on purpose. Then the readout: what moved, against your own start. If it didn’t move, you hear it from me first.

The tools inside the method

Every tool I teach is a step inside The Thermostat Method, not a separate system.

The First Breath

Settle in minutes, anywhere, the same day you learn it.

The Intercept

Catch the slip at the very start, and come back on a cue.

The Rehearsal

Your big day, run at real speed, with something going wrong on purpose.

The Trusted Voice

The better sentence, in the words of someone you trust.

The Wind-Down

A route down at night, already practiced.

Your Own

A script built with you, then written by you.

Where it works

On Zoom, from wherever you feel safest, in thirty-minute sessions; in longer programs when there is one big date on the calendar; and in the room with your team.

Consulting hypnosis is training, not medical or psychological treatment. Muse, watches and rings are consumer devices, not medical ones, and no reading proves what caused a change. Results vary and are not guaranteed.
